1-3 Bible for Preschoolers & Beginning Readers

The Bible should be read aloud to children before they can read it for themselves. The regular family Bible is fine for this. For reading stories to children, we particularly like the New English Translation for its clarity and accuracy. In addition, The Bible in Pictures, The Child’s Story Bible, Egermeier’s, and The Golden Children’s Bible are excellent read-aloud Bibles for children. The Bible in Pictures is further illustrated with quality artwork on every page. The Beginner’s Bible is a well-done edition that beginning readers can read independently. Finally, A is for Adam, D is for Dinosaur, and The Gospel for Children are highly recommended presentations of the gospel for children.
Beginner’s Bible by Karyn Henley
